仕事内容
In our role, we lead and transform the Japan Manufacturing Engineering organization by driving strategic initiatives aimed at closing performance gaps compared to regional benchmarks. We focus on enhancing equipment reliability and forming a high-performing team ready to support rapid product launches while ensuring sustainable operations and maintaining technical competency. As leaders, we balance technical expertise with strong people management skills, moving the Japan ME function from reactive troubleshooting to proactive process and quality optimization and waste elimination. Our primary responsibilities include overseeing a team of engineers, leading organizational transformation, and managing change initiatives within a high-volume production environment. We leverage our extensive experience in industries such as automotive, electronics, or precision manufacturing to successfully support new product introductions and sustaining engineering activities.
Our technical competencies focus on manufacturing processes like injection molding and automated assembly. We possess strong knowledge in equipment troubleshooting, maintenance strategies, and process optimization, along with proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies, such as 8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, and Fishbone. We also integrate Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles into our operations while staying familiar with automation technologies, robotics, and Industry 4.0 concepts. Travel is required at a rate of 10% to 25%, and the work is conducted onsite, ensuring that we are hands-on and directly engaged with the engineering teams and operations.

| その他 | - 応募要件: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field - 10+ years in manufacturing engineering within high-volume production environment - 5+ years in leadership roles managing engineering teams (minimum 15+ engineers) - Proven track record in automotive, electronics, or precision manufacturing industries - Experience leading organizational transformation and change management initiatives - Demonstrated success in NPI/product launch support and sustaining engineering - 望ましい経験: - Deep expertise in manufacturing processes: injection molding, automated assembly - Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, maintenance strategies, and process optimization - Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies (8D, 5-Why, DMAIC, Fishbone) - Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles - Familiarity with automation technologies, robotics, and Industry 4.0 concepts |
