Job ResponsibilitiesCore Responsibilities• Lead resolution of complex Tier 3 HR cases, including escalations, investigations, and sensitive employee relations matters.• Serve as a subject matter expert and escalation point for HR Business Delivery Specialists, providing coaching and guidance on case handling and policy interpretation.• Ensure consistent application of global HR policies and local labor law requirements across supported geographies.• Partner with Regional Governance and PSN teams to align delivery practices with enterprise standards.• Support large-scale organizational changes (e.g., restructures, divestitures, integrations) with in-market delivery expertise.• Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery through process optimization, automation, and knowledge sharing.• Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR knowledge base content and self-service tools.• Analyze case trends and metrics to identify risks, inform strategy, and improve employee experience.• Collaborate with HRBPs, CoEs, and Legal to ensure compliant and effective resolution of employee relations issues.• Deliver comprehensive employee relations services, including handling performance management processes, creating and monitoring performance improvement plans (PIPs), and conducting thorough workplace investigations.• Provide performance guidance and engagement counseling to managers and employees to support a positive, productive, and inclusive work environment.• Support talent initiatives and performance management processes, including PIPs and coaching plans.• Represent HR Business Delivery in cross-functional projects and working groups.Education Requirements 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.Preferred: Advanced HR certificationAdditional Qualifications • Strong expertise in employee relations, case management, and HR operations.• Experience supporting HR delivery in a global or multi-country environment.• Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.• Ability to interpret and apply employment law and policy consistently.• Skilled in data analysis and using insights to drive decisions.• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.• Experience mentoring or guiding junior HR professionals.Get to know Syneos HealthOver the past 5 years, we have worked with 94% of all Novel FDA Approved Drugs, 95% of EMA Authorized Products and over 200 Studies across 73,000 Sites and 675,000+ Trial patients.No matter what your role is, you’ll take the initiative and challenge the status quo with us in a highly competitive and ever-changing environment. Provides guidance to HR Business Delivery Specialists to ensure consistent and compliant ways of working. Leads initiatives to improve service delivery, resolve escalated cases, and support strategic HR programs in partnership with global and regional teams. Operates as a senior individual contributor with deep expertise in HR operations and employee relations. Influences cross-functional teams and drives consistency in HR delivery. May lead projects and/or mentor HR Business Delivery Specialists. Supports the development of scalable, compliant, and employee-centric HR practices across the enterprise.
