仕事内容
We are responsible for managing the quality deliverables of clinical trials at the country level. This includes ensuring compliance with project requirements and applicable local regulations, with moderate oversight from the SSU Country Manager. Our tasks involve adhering to forecasted timelines for submissions and approvals and tracking milestone progress in real time. If timelines are not met, we investigate delays, provide rationale, and suggest contingency plans to mitigate impact, escalating issues promptly. Additionally, we monitor basic financial aspects and escalate discrepancies as needed.
We review and comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), maintain updated training records, and ensure compliance with timesheets. We play a vital role in the continuous improvement of Site Start-Up (SSU) quality at the country level, managing document submissions and communications with Competent Authorities and Ethics Committees (ECs).
As Local Submissions Specialists, we follow the project direction provided by the designated country start-up advisor and SAM, acting as a point of contact during start-up phases. We prepare and submit Central and Local EC Applications, RA Applications, and other regulatory submissions. We may also facilitate communication between investigational sites and functional leads.
Furthermore, we act as advisors on in-country performance within Site Start-Up, supporting country-level intelligence on start-up and regulatory processes. Our responsibilities also include assisting with local site ID and feasibility support, negotiating site contracts, and managing budgets in collaboration with Site Contracts Service Centre and SAM. Our ultimate goal is to drive successful site activation processes at the country level, thus contributing significantly to the progression of clinical trials.
