仕事内容
We seek a Detection Engineer to join our Global Security Incident Response Team (GSIRT) at Sony Group Corporation. In this dynamic role, you will focus on detection research and engineering, security automation, and play a critical part in our geographically dispersed Cyber Defense Team. Your primary responsibilities will involve researching and developing mechanisms to detect adversarial activities within our systems, continuously enhancing these mechanisms to meet new threats and business requirements. You will identify opportunities for automation within security operations and develop solutions to improve workflow efficiency. Additionally, you'll assess and address deficiencies in security controls that could contribute to incidents or increase risk, collaborating with stakeholders to mitigate these issues.
As part of your role, you will also deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot security engineering infrastructure and codebases as necessary. Combining a robust understanding of the threat landscape with business demands, you will build detection and response capabilities that are responsive to evolving business needs. Other cyber defense-related duties may be assigned as required.
You should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent experience, along with over three years of experience in information security and security operations. Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with forensics, log analytics, SIEM, endpoint and network technologies, scripting proficiency, data analysis, and machine learning skills. Experience in software engineering, security incident response, reverse engineering, or threat intelligence is advantageous. Fluency in English for business communication and previous experience in a global or international setting are necessary.
