仕事内容
We are hiring for a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) to support our data centers in mainland Japan, with a focus on implementing and maintaining physical security procedures. As a DSS, you will collaborate with Data Center Security Managers to implement security standards and operational procedures across assigned facilities. Your role includes monitoring and maintaining physical security systems, preparing security documentation, and participating in security system testing. Additionally, you will help develop security awareness training materials and assist with delivering these training sessions. Analyzing security metrics and generating incident reports to support management decision-making will also be part of your duties.
You will coordinate maintenance, repairs, and operational needs with security vendors, supporting security improvement projects as directed by Security Managers. This role provides an opportunity to build expertise in data center security operations and offers a path for career growth within the field. Key responsibilities involve assessing and enhancing existing security programs, participating in compliance audits, and testing new security technologies. You will develop strategic goals that impact the entire region and adapt operational plans to evolving security scenarios.
Your tasks include supporting daily security operations, coordinating with vendors, implementing security protocols, processing security tickets, and assisting with metrics collection and project documentation. You will also execute compliance processes, verify access requests, assist with procurement tasks, and oversee security vendor work. Clear documentation and report writing on security metrics are essential aspects of the role, as is participating in security system installation project meetings with various stakeholders.
