仕事内容
We are seeking a customer-focused Business Intelligence Engineer to support Fulfillment Center (FC) operations at Amazon Japan through the application of advanced technology. This role is pivotal in enhancing our Operations division by leveraging Big Data across Amazon's Fulfillment Network to reduce costs, improve delivery speed, and expand product selection for customers. You will utilize data analysis, pipeline construction, and data visualization techniques to tackle operational challenges, while promoting standardization, automation, and optimization within the FCs. You will actively participate in designing and building KPIs, BI dashboards, and data pipelines, providing solutions that drive business growth. Collaboration is essential; you’ll work closely with engineering teams from diverse backgrounds and business-side specialists to push projects forward with a high degree of autonomy. Furthermore, you'll have the chance to develop skills in using AWS technologies such as Redshift, S3, Lambda, and QuickSight. We value individuals who exhibit flexibility, proactivity, and a sense of speed when tackling problems, and who can collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to implement improvements.
