仕事内容
We are responsible for delivering comprehensive executive support to two directors, namely AWS Global Sales Japan and Human Resources (HR) within our Japan organization. Our role entails proactive calendar management for the directors, which includes organizing cross-timezone meetings and ensuring effective prioritization. We also plan and manage domestic and international travel arrangements, incorporate multi-day meetings, and handle expense management. Furthermore, we lead coordination of department-wide meetings and strategic planning sessions, managing logistics, preparing agendas, and ensuring documentation is properly handled.
Apart from administrative tasks, our responsibilities extend to organizing confidential documents and managing team calendars efficiently. We act as a key liaison, facilitating communication and resolving queries independently between directors and their leadership teams. Our role involves managing communication materials through English-Japanese translation, ensuring cultural appropriateness and accuracy.
We collaborate with Executive Assistants across various regions to maintain process consistency and execute organization-wide initiatives by influencing stakeholders, defining project plans, managing implementation, and developing processes associated with program roll-out. On a typical day, we balance priorities across AWS Global Sales Japan and HR, coordinate cross-timezone meetings, prepare leadership review materials, and resolve scheduling conflicts proactively. Through these efforts, we contribute to the diverse and inclusive culture at AWS, navigating cross-cultural environments daily and collaborating with colleagues across Japan and global markets.
