仕事内容
We are seeking a dynamic Senior Software Developer to join our engineering team within the SAP Customer Experience – Order Management Services (SAP CX OMS) unit. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality cloud-native microservices that manage the order lifecycle in close collaboration with SAP Commerce Cloud and SAP S/4HANA. Your role involves designing and building scalable application systems that include AI-native components, advanced RAG pipelines, and multi-agent workflows. You will evaluate and benchmark AI systems for quality, reliability, and performance, optimizing for latency, throughput, and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities include implementing and improving observability and SRE practices like monitoring, alerting, and carrying out thorough root cause analyses. Integration with platform, data, and AI teams to design resilient, production-ready solutions will be crucial, as will efforts to enhance system scalability and maintainability. You'll actively use AI-powered development tools to expedite the software delivery process, including requirement comprehension, design exploration, code generation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
Your tasks will also entail developing and testing complex cloud-native microservices for the SAP Order Management platform and participating in full sprint cycles. This includes refining, developing, reviewing, and deploying code, as well as writing unit, integration, and contract tests to ensure high quality. As a technical owner, you'll establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and promote test automation practices. You'll support CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps practices to automate builds, tests, deployments, and operational processes, collaborating across various teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Moreover, you'll continuously monitor application health, troubleshoot complex production issues, and establish permanent solutions. Active use of AI-assisted development tools will be integral to maintaining high standards in architecture, security, performance, reliability, and maintainability, including validating and improving AI-generated code. Keeping abreast of emerging AI technologies, you'll explore new tools to enhance engineering productivity and recommend team-level development standards. Your extensive expertise in distributed systems, scalable application design, and DevOps practices will position you to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and drive systemic clarity and communication across teams.
