Job DescriptionDefine MDG target architecture and governance operating model for retail master dataCover key domains including Business Partner, Article, Site, and Finance master dataDesign governance workflows, validations, approvals, and role modelsLead integration and replication strategy across S/4HANA and retail systemsDrive data quality, cleansing, harmonization, and migration readinessEnsure auditability, traceability, and compliance by designProvide solution leadership across design, build, test, and handoverJob Description - Grade SpecificRequired Qualifications & Experience8–12+ years of experience in master data architecture, data governance, or SAP MDG rolesStrong hands-on experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANADeep understanding of retail master data domains and dependencies across retail systemsProven experience designing governance workflows, validations, and operating modelsExperience leading master data migration and data quality initiatives in large programsLanguage & Communication SkillsNative-level fluency in Japanese and English is good to haveStrong ability to engage business stakeholders and translate policy into system designPreferred SkillsExperience with complex retail system landscapes (POS, OMS, eCommerce, analytics platforms)Familiarity with data governance frameworks and compliance requirementsExperience working in large, multi-vendor or SI-led transformation programsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity and controlCapgemini is an AI-powered global business and technology transformation partner, delivering tangible business value.
