仕事内容
The role focuses on developing and implementing cybersecurity solutions for vehicles to safeguard them from cyber attacks. Our main activities include designing, developing, and validating vehicle cybersecurity processes by conducting Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA), defining security specifications, and utilizing intrusion detection techniques, cryptography, and authentication mechanisms. We also automate testing for Validation and Verification (V&V), which includes Fuzz and Penetration tests, and ensure compliance with security regulations.
The responsibilities involve engaging in discussions with customers about cybersecurity requirements, managing and decomposing requirements at the vehicle, system, and component levels, and developing, validating, and deploying automotive cybersecurity solutions. We devise security strategies for both cloud and in-vehicle systems using cryptography, conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses, and define attack scenarios. We are also responsible for creating and validating solutions for security function tests, fuzz tests, and penetration tests. The role includes coordinating cross-functional reviews to resolve technical issues and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards, such as UNECE WP.29 and ISO21434.
Candidates will gain deep insights into automotive cybersecurity and will be involved in applied research and implementation of security features, software systems design, and understanding communication protocols. The position demands a business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English and a strong foundation in cybersecurity concepts including cryptography, PKI, and security testing methodologies like fuzz and penetration testing. Hands-on experience with validation tools and test equipment is essential. Understanding of automotive electronic systems and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
