About the project: We are a strategic software partner for a leading global automotive OEM, supporting their transformation toward Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). Our role spans strategic consulting and technical execution—from defining software architecture roadmaps to delivering robust, scalable solutions for next-generation mobility.

Job responsibilities: Validation Engineer

1. Design, develop and execute validation plans for Central Compute SoC, including other hardware and software components

2. Develop and automate test cases for functional, performance and system level validation of overall system

3. Analyze validation data, troubleshoot issues and collaborate with design and software/hardware teams to resolve problems

4. Document validation procedures, test results and issues, providing detailed reports for project teams and management

5. May need to automate validation workflows using scripting language or such tools

6. Compliance with automotive standards such as AUTOSAR, Functional Safety – ISO 26262, ASPICE

7. Support regression testing and validation for new hardware revisions, middleware updates, etc.

8. Participate in cross-team reviews to ensure validation coverage and quality, monitoring (measurement of KPIs) and controlling, communicating with key stakeholders, quality management, work distribution to offshore (India) team

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Experience in validation of SDV specific SW platforms, including functional and performance testing

2. Experience in Software development lifecycle including Requirement analysis, Design, Development, unit Test, Integration Test and System Test, System validation

3. Familiarity with embedded systems, hardware components, and software tools used in system validation which may include below

Language: C, C++, Python

OS/Middleware: Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR

Controllers: Renesas R-Car, NXP S32G, MCUs

Toolchains: GCC, Multi, Vector DaVinci, EB tresos

Language: Both English & Japanese above business level
