仕事内容
As a Staff Product Manager at Fastly, we focus on defining and evolving the next generation of user and developer experiences on Fastly's Edge Platform. This involves the management and enhancement of applications through the Fastly Control Panel, CLI, and various developer tools. We are responsible for driving customer solution requirements, ensuring customer adoption, and delivering solutions that encompass developer tooling, UX, and identity and access management.
In our role, we outline the roadmap for future developments in both UX and developer experiences and for identity and access management, including AI agent access and the API token lifecycle, all adhering to the principle of least privilege. We work in collaboration with stakeholders across different organizational functions to deliver precise access tooling for customers. Furthermore, success is defined and measured through data-driven metrics where we translate complex use cases across various industry segments into focused product requirements.
Additionally, fostering strong relationships with teams such as Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Revenue is essential. Our role requires direct collaboration with core security engineering, infrastructure, customer support, and sales engineering teams to ensure smooth, multi-tenant developer workflows. A key part of our responsibilities is to clearly communicate and present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, tailoring our narrative as necessary. We aim to not only understand the "why" behind market problems but also to translate technical abilities into clear, valued solutions, thereby enhancing the developer and user experience with a deep understanding and strategic foresight.
