仕事内容
As an Operations Analyst in the Executive Planning & Operations team, we focus on solving strategic and operational challenges across Fastly. Our primary responsibilities include managing and refining critical cross-organizational processes such as Product Lifecycle, Engineering Operations, and software capitalization. We work on emerging processes like FinOps and cloud spend management to ensure effective operations. Collaborating with Senior Directors and VPs, we promote operational discipline and consistency within Product and Engineering teams, enhancing communication and visibility across strategic portfolios.
Additionally, our role involves championing tool and process improvements to scale operations effectively. We act as the main point of contact for cross-functional teams, aiming to measure and improve the results of various strategic initiatives. We thrive on a strong action bias, emphasizing execution and incremental improvements, while also capable of documenting and training stakeholders on new processes. We aim to create structure in ambiguous situations and focus on achieving tangible business outcomes rather than following processes for their sake.
Experience in business operations, process improvement, and a background in engineering or product teams is crucial for this role, along with strong communication skills across all levels. We aim for effective leadership through influence and require a comprehensive understanding of financial, sales, or business metrics, and familiarity with program management methodologies. The position requires availability during business hours with potential travel, balancing time between office and remote work environments in select locations.
