仕事内容
Our responsibilities include establishing and leading technical collaborations with supercomputing centers (SCCs) for the development of hybrid quantum-classical applications across different industry verticals. We will spearhead pioneering research in AI for quantum algorithms, guiding all aspects of projects and driving technical results in collaboration with strategic partners, such as SCCs, leading quantum processing unit (QPU) builders, and key researchers. Our efforts ensure alignment with strategic objectives and contribute to customer success.
Additionally, we play a critical role in adding to NVIDIA's revenue stream by engaging strategically on technical fronts and developing innovative solutions that support customer adoption and facilitate long-term partnerships. We also have the responsibility of publishing impactful research work and representing NVIDIA at various scientific, technical, and industry conferences.
To successfully execute these tasks, we require a Ph.D. in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with more than 5 years of experience in Quantum Algorithms and Applications. Deep knowledge and strong connections within the Japanese quantum ecosystem are essential, as well as demonstrated leadership in technical collaborations with industry partners. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and parallel programming models like CUDA is necessary. Excellent communication skills to convey value propositions to both technical and non-technical audiences are required. A track record of research excellence, as shown through publications and presentations at leading conferences, is expected.
Extra qualifications such as recognized thought-leadership in quantum applied research and high-performance computing, as well as experience with NVIDIA Quantum platforms like cuQuantum and CUDA-Q, will distinguish candidates.
