仕事内容

As part of our NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist Team, we are seeking a Senior Networking (ETH/IB) Solutions Architect to contribute to the development of some of the largest and fastest AI/HPC systems globally. This role involves significant engagement with customers, partners, and internal teams to analyze, define, and implement large-scale networking projects. The main duties include building AI/HPC infrastructure for both new and existing customers with a strong focus on supporting the operational and reliability aspects of large-scale AI clusters. Key tasks will involve focusing on performance at scale, real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting. You will be involved throughout the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design to deployment, operation, and refinement, ensuring services are maintained by monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health. Additionally, you'll provide valuable feedback to internal teams by documenting workarounds, opening bugs, and suggesting improvements.

Ideal candidates should have a BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in relevant fields and at least 8 years of professional experience with networking fundamentals and data center architecture. A high level of proficiency is required in configuring, testing, and resolving issues in LAN and InfiniBand networks, particularly within HPC/AI environments. Advanced knowledge of networking protocols such as EVPN, BGP, OSPF, and VXLAN is essential, alongside experience with network platforms like Cumulus Linux and others. Hands-on experience with automated network provisioning tools and the development of CI/CD pipelines is also needed. The role demands a customer-focused approach, excellent leadership skills, and proficiency in English and Japanese. Additional qualifications like familiarity with cloud networks and GPU-focused hardware/software experience can help you stand out.

その他- **応募要件**: BS/MS/PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
At least 8 years of professional experience in networking fundamentals, TCP/IP stack, and data center architecture.
Proficiency in configuring, testing, validating, and resolving issues in LAN and InfiniBand networks, especially in medium to large-scale HPC/AI environments.
Advanced knowledge of EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN protocols.
Hands-on experience with network switch/router platforms like Cumulus Linux, SONiC, IOS, JunosOS, and EOS.
Extensive experience delivering automated network provisioning solutions using tools like Ansible, Salt, and Python.
Ability to develop CI/CD pipelines for network operations.
Strong focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
Self-motivated with leadership skills to work collaboratively with customers and internal teams.
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills in English and Japanese are essential.

- **望ましい経験**: Familiarity with cloud networks (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
Linux or Networking Certifications.
Experience with High-performance computing architectures.
Understanding of how job schedulers(Slurm, PBS) work.
Cluster management technologies knowledge (bonus credit for BCM (Base Command Manager).)
Experience with GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) focused hardware/software.
