仕事内容
As an Analyst in the Deal Desk team at Salesforce, our role is pivotal in facilitating the revenue growth of our commercial business segments in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Our primary responsibility is to evaluate, structure, and approve commercial quotes, ensuring they align with corporate pricing policies, adhere to legal terms, and conform to margin guidelines. We act as critical gatekeepers and advisors for high-velocity transactions, focusing on risk mitigation, policy compliance, and the identification of improvement opportunities through data-driven insights.
Our duties include managing the entire quote review and approval process, working autonomously with commercial account teams to structure quotes, and providing timely guidance on complex scenarios by engaging senior help when necessary. We consistently apply standard pricing tools, discount matrices, and commercial playbooks to drive deals forward efficiently, while also offering alternative structures for non-standard quotes to add value and commercial support.
In this role, we must articulate the Deal Desk's policies and rationale effectively when faced with objections, manage escalations by involving leadership when needed, and ensure every detail in the quote is precise and compliant with contractual norms. Collaboration with Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations is essential to streamline the quoting lifecycle and enhance deal velocity.
To excel, we need a solid background in quote-to-cash operations, commercial deal desks, or similar fields, proficiency in Japanese and business English, and strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail. The ability to operate under fast-paced, high-volume conditions and establish strong collaborative relationships is critical, requiring adept use of CRM and CPQ platforms, supported by AI-powered tools. Experience in the SaaS/software industry, particularly within high-velocity sales segments, further enhances our effectiveness in this role.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: * 2+ years of demonstrated experience in quote-to-cash operations, commercial deal desk, sales operations, financial analysis, or a relevant commercial support function. * Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role. * Professional proficiency in Japanese and business English are required. * Strong analytical background with high attention to detail, ensuring quote metrics, discounts, and numbers are always accurate. * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, think on your feet amidst transactional ambiguity, and prioritize competing quote requests effectively. * Highly effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain commercial policies and quote compliance parameters clearly to sales teams. * Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to working collaboratively to drive team results. * Proficiency in using CRM and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) platforms, as well as AI-powered tools, to support quote analysis and workflow efficiency. - **望ましい経験**: * Experience supporting a high-velocity Commercial or SMB (Small and Medium Business) sales segment within the SaaS/Software industry is a plus. * Prior experience utilizing Salesforce CPQ or similar enterprise quoting platforms. * Fluency in Korean or Mandarin is a plus. |
