仕事内容
As a Sr. Commodity Manager within the GMO Advanced Packaging Materials Organization at Intel, our core responsibility is to enhance Intel's supply chain for advanced packaging materials. We achieve this by optimizing costs, ensuring the continuity of supply, and facilitating the execution of technology roadmaps. We develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and the advanced packaging roadmap, fostering strategic partnerships with suppliers. By influencing both commercial and technical decisions, we aim to reinforce Intel's competitive advantage within the industry.
Key objectives include leading the optimization of Cost, Quality, Availability, and Technology (CQAT) within the Advanced Packaging supply chain at Intel. We take charge of managing strategic supplier relationships, which encompasses aspects such as sourcing, selection, performance management, and executive alignment. A critical part of this role involves conducting contract negotiations, establishing pricing strategies, and developing cost reduction roadmaps.
Additionally, we translate product and technology requirements into sourcing strategies and assess supplier capabilities, financial health, and market dynamics to identify potential risks and opportunities. By implementing risk mitigation strategies across the supply chain and sub-tiers, we ensure business continuity. We also shape material specifications and design decisions in collaboration with engineering teams and suppliers to deliver mutual long-term value. Cross-functional alignment with Operations, TD, Finance, Planning, and Legal is vital for success in this role.
The role demands strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders across global, cross-functional teams. Business acumen in negotiation, supplier strategy formulation, and executive engagement is crucial. Furthermore, we connect technical requirements with cost, supply, and supplier capabilities, demonstrating leadership in driving alignment, decision-making, and team development.
