仕事内容

Our role as the Field Tech Director at NTT DATA in Ikonobe, Japan, involves leading global field service operations with a focus on achieving quality, SLA, and customer satisfaction targets. We are responsible for hiring, developing, and supervising a team to fulfill these objectives. Key duties include managing field service schedules, ensuring contract adherence, driving service level improvements, overseeing delivery cost, and standardizing field service functions. We conduct client meetings, onboard and offboard personnel, and provide direct supervision to our global team members, ensuring effective performance monitoring and program implementation.

We collaborate with the NTTD Client Delivery Executive and Program Owners to prioritize client projects and deliver operational continuity through staffing and knowledge management. Our responsibilities extend to coordinating field service tower integration activities, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing Customer Service Improvement Plans (CSI). We manage expenses with the finance team to ensure alignment with our financial goals, while driving service level improvements across field service teams and suppliers.

Significant travel is involved, both domestically and internationally, as we lead strategic goals for field service operations and negotiate service delivery in local countries. We regularly coach our team, review performance, support business process improvements, and identify areas for automation. As leaders, we are expected to maintain high client satisfaction levels, lead supplier relationships, and set clear expectations for team performance. The position also demands proficiency in Japanese and English, ITIL certification, strong negotiation, leadership skills, and the ability to manage physical office tasks.
