仕事内容

At Takeda, we are seeking an Associate Scientific Fellow in Process Analytics to support our drug substance process chemistry and engineering research. This role involves developing analytical methods to optimize reactions and understand mechanistic aspects, while providing technical oversight to enhance team performance. A strong background in analytical chemistry and process understanding is essential, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance small molecule drug substance processes. As part of these duties, you will also collaborate on lab processes related to data collection and analysis within the Process Analytics Group for Small Molecule Process Development.

Your contributions will include supporting project teams in developing research methods, identifying process impurities, analyzing reaction kinetics, and collaborating with teams to enable data platforms. Additionally, you will design and execute experiments for process optimization and scale-up, provide analytical support to troubleshoot process issues, and develop IPC methods for both non-GMP and GMP steps. The role requires method development for innovation and technology, including HPLC/GC for complex mixtures, and managing analytical data infrastructure.

You will generate technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, stay updated with industry trends, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in analytical techniques. As a technical resource for the team, you will guide strategic decisions and manage project plans effectively, ensuring alignment with departmental and cross-departmental strategies. The position requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry or related fields and significant experience in CMC pharmaceutical development and leadership, with proficiency in analytical tools and the ability to travel occasionally.
