仕事内容
In this role, we aim to establish a clear vision and strategic roadmap for extended characterization that meets the needs of drug discovery, development, and manufacturing across small and mid-sized molecules, including oligos, small molecules, and peptides. We will implement and optimize advanced techniques such as mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), and microscopy to enhance our understanding of drug substances and products in terms of their properties, stability, and quality. A critical aspect of our work will be to identify and integrate emerging technologies and digital tools to modernize our characterization platforms, driving improvements in both efficiency and scientific impact.
We will lead and deliver strategies across the CMC portfolio, partnering closely with analytical, DS/DP, manufacturing, and quality teams to integrate insights into every stage of development and production. Our team will be built and sustained as a high-performing unit through strategic hiring, mentoring, and resource planning. Additionally, developing strong external collaborations and enhancing our scientific reputation through publications and industry engagements will be key.
Technically, we require deep expertise in MS, NMR, and microscopy as applied to the pharmaceutical CMC lifecycle, with experience in regulatory processes and managing analytical partnerships. Strategically, we must exhibit leadership in setting directions and advancing our analytical science capabilities, fostering cross-functional partnerships, and spearheading changes and innovations that drive our initiatives further. This requires not only managing the complexities of portfolio oversight and cross-functional dependencies but also advancing our methods within a regulated, risk-sensitive industry environment.
