仕事内容
As Senior Counsel for International Employment, we are tasked with providing strategic employment law counsel across all Takeda jurisdictions outside the United States, focusing on Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC). We collaborate with Global HR, Regional HR leadership, Compliance, and senior business stakeholders to manage complex employment law matters, ensuring organizational change support and legal risk mitigation. Our responsibilities include serving as primary legal advisor on international employment law issues, offering timely advice to HR and business leaders, and overseeing employment law aspects of M&A and strategic transactions outside the US. We provide strategic guidance on senior executive employment matters and manage employment litigation and government investigations, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
Additionally, we partner with Global HR to develop global and regional employment policies, ensuring compliance with diverse legal systems. Our role involves advising on employee relations, disciplinary actions, and performance management, monitoring legislative developments, and supporting global initiatives in diversity and inclusion, data privacy, and workforce transformation. We build trusted relationships with HR leadership and contribute to the international employment law strategy, seeking opportunities for efficiency and risk reduction. We also provide legal support for global business functions and strategic projects requiring employment law expertise, ensuring alignment with Takeda’s values and legal obligations.
