仕事内容
Our role as Site Activation Specialists involves conducting activities within the country to initiate investigative sites for clinical trials across all phases. We work towards efficient delivery with some oversight, focusing on areas such as site contracts, ethics and regulatory submissions, and essential document collection required for site initiation and activation. Our responsibilities include ensuring local activities are completed within specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards. We may act as primary contacts for regulatory authorities and ethics committees and could interact with customers during regulatory requirements fulfillment. We are accountable to Project Leads or Site Activation Managers for deliverables and may function as Site Activation Managers for local studies.
Our tasks involve ensuring compliance with project requirements and country rules, tracking project milestones, and addressing any delays with contingency plans. We monitor the financial aspects of projects, review Standard Operating Procedures, and support continuous quality improvement in site start-up components. Responsibilities may include preparing and submitting regulatory applications, acting as liaison between sites and project leads, and ensuring document submission to the Trial Master File.
We might provide local submissions, advisor roles, regulatory intelligence, or site feasibility support. Additionally, tasks could involve negotiating contracts and budgets with investigational sites, ensuring quality control, and assisting with contract execution and document archival. Strong organizational, negotiating, problem-solving, and communication skills are crucial, and while tasks listed may change, the aim is always to support the effective delivery of clinical trials.
