仕事内容
In our Clinical Monitoring roles, we are responsible for ensuring the integrity and compliance of clinical research studies. Our primary tasks include performing site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, site management activities, and close-out visits either on-site or remotely. We ensure that these activities comply with regulatory standards, ICH-GCP, and protocol requirements. Our responsibilities also require us to assess both site performance and staff, providing necessary recommendations and escalating serious issues to project teams promptly, while developing suitable action plans.
We verify informed consent processes, protect patient confidentiality, and assess factors affecting patient safety and data integrity. This includes monitoring for protocol deviations, pharmacovigilance issues, and implementing site and project-level audit readiness to guarantee an optimal standard is maintained.
Working within the Clinical Monitoring/Site Management Plan, we focus on reviewing source documents at our investigator sites, ensuring that clinical data entered are accurate and resolving queries efficiently. We coordinate closely with site staff to employ both hardware and software tools to maintain quality control in data capture and verification.
Additionally, we manage investigational product inventories, ensuring compliance with local regulations for importation, storage, and distribution, while routinely checking the Investigator Site File accuracy and compliance. In collaboration with site teams and others, we ensure that all personnel are well-trained and compliant with the relevant standards, preparing them for audits and meetings.
Our role extends to being a primary liaison with study site personnel, attending Investigator Meetings and supporting recruitment strategies to ensure project goals and deliverables are met. We leverage our expertise in GCP/ICH guidelines and relevant regulations, utilizing continuous training to adapt to the dynamic clinical environment and provide comprehensive site support throughout the study lifecycle.
