仕事内容
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Japan’s pharmaceutical and healthcare data landscape to support clients in navigating complex data ecosystems for commercial and sales reporting. You will engage with both domestic and multinational life sciences clients to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data science solutions. The role involves analyzing and interpreting data from sources such as IQVIA, Veeva, Snowflake, and various local vendors, ensuring insights are aligned with Japan’s unique hierarchical data models. You will collaborate with offshore delivery teams, serving as a bilingual bridge between client stakeholders and technical teams. Furthermore, you will contribute to the development of analytics strategies, create data pipelines, and design machine learning models tailored for commercial effectiveness, patient journey analysis, and real-world evidence (RWE).
Additionally, mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal capability building within the Insights & Data team are key responsibilities. The role requires 5 to 10+ years of experience in data science and analytics with a focus on Japan's pharmaceutical or healthcare sector. A background in consulting and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Qlik, Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms are highly desirable. Native Japanese fluency and business-level English proficiency are essential, along with the ability to work flexibly across different client environments.
