仕事内容

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Fastly, we are responsible for leading and driving the growth of our company within the UK market. Our primary focus is on industries such as Commerce, SAAS, PAAS, Media and Publishing, High Tech, and Financial Services. Reporting to the Director of Sales, we will develop, manage, and execute a Go-To-Market plan that ensures Fastly achieves continued growth in these verticals across the assigned territory. Our role involves being accountable for driving pipeline, sales, revenue, and meeting or exceeding quota goals.

We manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from start to finish, including prospecting, discovery, Proof of Concepts, value proposition positioning, pricing, closing contracts, and managing accounts. Collaboration is key, as we will work closely with a Sales Engineer and the wider revenue team to guide prospective customers through product demos, as well as partner with the account management team to accelerate customer adoption and ensure satisfaction. Additionally, we engage with other key departments within Fastly, such as Client Services, Marketing, Product, and Product Marketing, to ensure alignment in regional efforts.

We must develop a technical understanding of Fastly's solutions, recognizing the problems they solve for our customers and how they fit within the broader Edge Computing, Security, and DevOps landscape. Utilizing CRM tools, we enhance the Fastly customer database and report on sales progress, in addition to using sales prospecting tools to drive outbound activities.

Our role demands a successful track record in new business development with senior leaders and C-level executives within Enterprise Sales, as well as direct field sales experience across multiple verticals. The position is remote, with potential hybrid opportunities, and may require travel to the US and internationally as necessitated by the role.
