仕事内容
As a Technical Pre-Sales Architect, we play a critical role at the intersection of Sales, Architecture, and Delivery to foster the growth of SAS Managed Cloud. Our responsibilities include designing high-quality solutions, conducting technical validations, and ensuring effective collaboration across various teams. In this development-focused architecture role, we actively shape opportunities by providing structured technical input and crafting solutions aligned with SAS standards and Managed Cloud capabilities. We ensure these solutions are feasible and meet delivery and operational expectations, facilitating capability building across architecture, sales engagement, and delivery alignment.
Our role involves close collaboration with Customer Advisory, Professional Services, and Managed Cloud teams globally to ensure consistent outcomes, reduce delivery risk, and optimize the reuse of best practices. We contribute to the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and cost-effective SAS Managed Cloud solutions, translating business requirements into technical solutions that meet both customer and operational needs. Additionally, we participate in and support architecture discussions and validation activities.
In the sales cycle, we provide technical credibility by contributing to solution positioning and proposal development, translating customer requirements into proposals, and assisting in RFP/RFI responses and other proposal-related activities. We ensure alignment of proposed solutions with delivery capabilities and manage operational constraints by collaborating with delivery teams, ensuring a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
Furthermore, we adhere to established architecture standards and governance frameworks, participate in design reviews, and contribute feedback to improve the consistency of solution approaches. We support the development of reusable technical assets and promote the adoption of best practices. Our role also encompasses building effective communication and relationships with stakeholders, participating in customer discussions, and guiding teams on technical and architectural approaches to meet business outcomes.
