仕事内容
As part of our Federal sales team, our role revolves around selling Datadog products by addressing real customer issues, utilizing a well-defined methodology to uncover and meet the distinctive needs of our clients. As a Federal, Civilian Sales Executive, your responsibility is to prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies, maintaining and building key relationships within your territory while expanding our presence and reach within new civilian agencies transitioning to cloud technology. You will be tasked with negotiating competitive pricing and business terms, ensuring a clear value perception and ROI for large commercial enterprises.
Your duties involve managing existing customer expectations, identifying key business drivers, and ensuring high forecasting accuracy. Our team appreciates resourcefulness in overcoming challenges and looks for intuitive and strategic acumen in closing deals and gaining customer validation. Travel within your designated area for client meetings is a regular part of the role, requiring flexibility and adaptation to various transportation modes.
We seek candidates with over 5 years of successful closing experience, a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, and the ability to independently build and manage sales pipelines. Experience with innovative tech products, particularly SaaS or IT infrastructure, and selling into major Fortune 1000 companies is preferred.
