仕事内容
Our role involves leading and directing the Delivery area dedicated to providing IT solutions and services to clients. This includes the design, development, and implementation of integrated software and hardware systems or professional IT solutions. We provide strategic guidance to enhance team capabilities, meet financial and operational goals, and fulfill client commitments effectively. A fundamental part of our responsibilities is developing the Delivery line of business and ensuring consistent practices globally, while also maintaining strong relationships with the leadership teams of our clients.
We manage professional-level teams, either directly or through lower-level supervisors, and independently determine the best approach to managing daily operations. This involves translating business plans into operational objectives and achieving results through subordinate managers and team members. We handle large, complex accounts and provide oversight in system design, applications programming, database management, network systems, telecommunications, and data processing operations.
In our global, highly-matrixed delivery model, we act as the technical point of contact and escalation point for customers, guiding our teams toward strategic and operational objectives. We review delivery and SLA metrics with the enterprise delivery team and address issues through Service Improvement Plans. Our role also involves supporting stakeholders with complex metrics and reporting, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation, and planning and executing accordingly.
We proactively identify potential issues to resolve them before they impact customers, and we facilitate continuous service improvement. Additionally, we identify opportunities for increased productivity and efficiency through new technologies and improved operational activities. Effective communication with all stakeholders and cross-functional teams is crucial to maximizing customer experience. Fluency in both Japanese and English is required, along with a minimum of ten years of delivery experience.
