仕事内容
As Clinical Research Associates (CRAs) at Syneos Health, we perform comprehensive clinical site monitoring and management tasks. Our core responsibilities include conducting site qualification, initiation, interim monitoring, management activities, and close-out visits both on-site and remotely. We ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, such as ICH-GCP, and adhere to Good Pharmacoepidemiology Practice (GPP).
We use our expertise to evaluate site and staff performance and provide specific recommendations, immediately escalating serious issues and developing action plans as necessary. We verify informed consent processes, ensure confidentiality, and assess factors affecting subject safety and data integrity, identifying potential protocol deviations and pharmacovigilance issues.
According to the Clinical Monitoring/Site Management Plan, we assess site processes, conduct Source Document Reviews, verify clinical data accuracy, and apply query resolution techniques. Our role also involves ensuring site compliance with electronic data capture requirements.
We oversee investigational product inventory, reconciliation, storage, and security, ensuring it is dispensed and administered correctly. We routinely review the Investigator Site File for accuracy and completeness, reconciling it with the Trial Master File.
Additionally, we document activities, support patient recruitment and retention strategies, and manage site-level communications to ensure project objectives are met. We serve as primary liaisons with study sites, attend relevant meetings, and prepare for audits, maintaining knowledge of regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
Our responsibilities may extend to supporting real-world late phase study lifecycle activities, including chart abstraction and data collection, and collaborating with sponsors and local staff to enhance study outcomes.
Overall, we contribute to the success of clinical trials by applying our expertise and agile problem-solving skills, striving to accelerate the delivery of therapies and improve patient care.
