仕事内容
In this role, we will work as technical experts within the dynamic field of static timing analysis (STA), specifically focusing on timing constraints and timing signoff challenges. Our primary responsibility will be to collaborate with semiconductor companies, leveraging sophisticated tools such as Synopsys PrimeTime. Our aim is to address and resolve complex timing constraints related issues for advanced node designs. This involves delivering expert guidance on end-to-end timing constraints and closures, and debugging critical timing issues such as lint, promote, demote, block2top, setup/hold, clocking, and variability.
We will actively work with research and development (R&D) and product engineering teams to solve complex timing challenges and promote the adoption of Synopsys PrimeTime technologies and signoff flows. Our tasks will also include developing reference flows, creating automation scripts using Tcl/Python, and establishing best practices to efficiently handle timing challenges. Moreover, we are expected to provide technical training, conduct workshops, and give demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and understanding.
Our background in electronics and communication, along with expertise in tools like Synopsys PrimeTime and TCM, will be crucial. A thorough understanding of timing constraints, debugging, and problem-solving skills are essential to drive projects to successful completion. Strong communication skills are also vital as we will liaise with customers to exchange technical insights and drive issues to resolution. Experience with RTL-based flows, mode merge, correlation, or high-performance designs like CPU, GPU, or AI/ML chips will be advantageous in fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
