仕事内容
As application engineers at Synopsys, we play a crucial role in leveraging our advanced engineering knowledge to architect technology solutions and build relationships that help customers solve complex engineering problems using Ansys’ software and services. We engage in significant customer interactions that impact software revenue, leading solution architecture for complex customer engagements from presales to professional service activities. Our responsibilities include providing senior-level guidance and oversight on advanced technical support and solution deployments.
We engage with sales and customers, offering tailored services and solutions based on business needs. This involves leading workshops to assess current practices and define future scenarios, selecting appropriate tools and technologies, and collaborating with technical experts (like product developers and managers) to assess technology maturity and risks. We ensure that the proposed technical solutions adhere to best practices, creating a value proposition for services and managing technical objections.
Throughout project lifecycles, we serve as the main technical contact, continuously learning, adapting, and communicating with stakeholders. We guide other application engineering experts with clear requirements and collaborate with product teams for effective solution design and development. Additionally, we define adoption strategies and support stakeholders such as account executives and project management teams.
In leading customer engagements, we manage projects across diverse teams and regions, taking ownership of technology stack delivery to strategic customers. Our preferred candidates have a background in engineering disciplines, with extensive experience and expertise in relevant software, system architecture, and industry-specific workflows, fluently communicating in Japanese and English. The role involves significant travel and collaboration with a dynamic and innovative team focused on advancing HPC designs and chip security.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: Required education and degree type: Bachelors, Master or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering/Computer Science or a related field. Required minimum years of professional experience in an engineering environment: 12 years for Bachelors, 10 years for Masters or 7 years for PhD. Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM, SPDM software packages. Subject matter expert in one or more relevant disciplines within Synopsys’ business and is/will be sought out for advice by other Synopsys engineers. Demonstrated understanding of enterprise system architecture and its deployment flow. Deep experience in industry-specific engineering workflows. Good documentation skills to describe and review the architecture documents, statement of work etc. Track record of delivering exceptional customer outcomes and revenue impact. Strong leadership and mentoring skills entail negotiating with stakeholders, understanding the needs of all parties. Logical problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers and to a large range of audiences. Fluent in writing and speaking Japanese and English. Ability to organize and drive multiple projects which are complex in nature, coordinate colleagues across geographically diverse locations. Possesses a sense of urgency. Projects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeed. Author of publications in recognized journal in the relevant field of expertise. Preferred years of professional experience in an engineering environment: 16 years for Bachelors, 14 years for Masters or 11 years for PhD. Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and translate these into an execution plan that delivers value and meets business goals. Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives. |
