仕事内容
As Staff Developer Advocates, we lead and guide our team in Singapore, focusing on the broader Asia Pacific and Japan region. Our role involves managing projects from start to finish, promoting collaboration, and assisting Datadog's community in tackling real-world challenges. We closely collaborate with internal product and engineering teams, as well as engage with Datadog's customers to coach and prepare them for delivering impactful talks and presentations. Our objective is to act as technical experts, influencing the content and execution of technical events such as Datadog Summits and engineering meetups.
We are responsible for shaping and directing regional advocacy programs to maintain Datadog's relevance among technical practitioners. Our role also includes representing Datadog at various events and conferences, conveying our perspectives on our solutions, engineering culture, and industry trends to technical audiences. Additionally, we manage, mentor, and expand a team of regional Developer Advocates across APJ, executing localized community and advocacy strategies. Collaboration with event organizers is crucial to ensuring successful engagements involving Datadog and generating the most engaging content for attendees.
Our responsibilities extend to content creation across multiple media formats to establish Datadog's reputation in DevOps, Observability, Software Development, and Security, including demos, public speaking, blogging, webinars, and more. Moreover, we contribute feedback on product bugs and enhancements, facilitating product improvement.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: Approximately 5+ years of experience as a software developer, SRE, or other practitioner Approximately 5+ years of experience in a senior technical developer relations capacity responsible for collaborating with peers to set technical direction and influence product outcomes to serve user needs. Approximately 3+ years of experience in storytelling and creating compelling content e.g. written content, conference talks, leading workshops, live streaming or recording videos, contributing to open source, and participating in community events You have publicly available writing samples, blog posts, demos, or recordings of presentations on technical topics You have coached and enabled others to speak publicly and deliver compelling talks about their areas of subject matter expertise in a way that resonates with audiences, especially technical peers Experience either working on technical conferences or events, either as a collaborator with organizers or as an organizer yourself You enjoy self-driven exploration and education on new technologies and languages - **望ましい経験**: You have experience working with regional teams to localize technical content and stories for your audiences You are multilingual, particularly in languages prominent in the ASEAN region (e.g., Indonesian/Bahasa, Malay, Thai, Mandarin) |
