仕事内容
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our AWS water infrastructure team in the APAC region, focusing on water-based cooling system infrastructures. You will provide engineering expertise and due diligence support for both new and existing AWS projects. For new projects, you will oversee multiple water projects across various locations, conducting thorough evaluations of water and wastewater infrastructure, negotiating with utilities, assessing costs and schedules, and ensuring seamless startup of new infrastructure. At existing sites, you will assist our operations and engineering teams in maintaining and troubleshooting water treatment systems, developing performance metrics, and communicating these results to technical teams and senior leadership. As the subject matter expert, you will handle all water infrastructure issues, perform risk analyses, and deliver water sustainability projects.
You will act as the central contact for water and wastewater treatment issues, manage relationships with utilities, and play a crucial role in due diligence and site selection by analyzing geographical and site-specific data, including permitting, water availability, and backup supply options. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with internal teams to manage water service delivery, recommending cooling system strategies for new regions, ensuring the effective operation of existing water systems, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. You will ensure that our water systems do not hinder business growth, troubleshoot problems, conduct root-cause analyses, and deliver projects supporting water sustainability goals. This role requires 20% regional travel for site evaluations and audits.

| その他 | - **応募要件**: - 6+ years of data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance experience - 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field - Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment - Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance - Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities - Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities - **望ましい経験**: - Professional Engineering or Architectural License - Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents |
