仕事内容
As Fastly’s People Systems Architect, our primary responsibility is to serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday, collaborating with the People team to enhance and deploy Workday functionalities that drive digital transformation and uncover new capabilities and data insights. We are tasked with implementing new features or processes within project timelines, optimizing existing functionalities, and ensuring efficient scalable solutions.
Our role involves leading HR technology projects, including compensation cycles and performance reviews, in partnership with People Centers of Excellence (COEs) and business stakeholders to identify improvements and apply best practices. We gather and translate business requirements into actionable plans, configure Workday business processes, and manage testing and deployment of these configurations. We are also responsible for creating and maintaining Workday reports and managing data loads.
Our duties extend to providing advanced tier support, troubleshooting complex issues, managing Workday release readiness, and maintaining the ongoing administration and operational health of Workday functionalities. Working closely with People leadership and COEs, we help evaluate and prioritize enhancement requests, ensuring compliance with controls and audit readiness while maintaining comprehensive documentation and training resources to promote user adoption and operational continuity.
The position demands a strong background in Workday configuration, a keen understanding of HR and business processes, and the ability to manage enterprise-wide technology implementations. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for building relationships and ensuring the successful execution of projects across functions.
