仕事内容
As Field CTOs at Datadog, we serve as technical multipliers and trusted advisors, particularly to senior decision-makers and key executive stakeholders. Our role is to align customer ambitions with Datadog's technology roadmap, enabling digital transformation and sustained growth for both our customers and Datadog. We lead the technical strategy for the entire Japan region, establishing thought leadership and building the strategic case for Datadog’s presence in the market. Our key duties include guiding C-level executives in rationalizing their adoption journey and operationalizing observability, identifying industry trends to support Product, GTM, BVA, and Architecture teams, and co-creating industry solutions with Product SAs and Product Management.
We are dedicated to demonstrating Datadog's platform and thought leadership in observability and security, emphasizing advanced solutions and industry best practices. We provide advisory services to sales leaders and executive stakeholders on ROI, value realization, and strategy adoption. Furthermore, we collaborate with Product Solutions Architecture, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Marketing teams to offer high-quality technical resources, lead architecture and design engagements, and participate in executive brief discussions regarding architecture and observability best practices.
Additionally, we play a role in recruiting and hiring top talent for the Product Solutions Architecture and Field CTO teams. Our candidates typically possess over 15 years of experience in enterprise or application architecture, with a strong understanding of the observability space and technological shifts specific to the Japan region. We seek professionals who are strategic thinkers, seasoned stakeholders managers, hands-on technologists, effective presenters, and excellent communicators, who also have the ability to travel extensively and possess a native level of Japanese language proficiency, coupled with strong English skills.
