仕事内容
As a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) supporting our data centers across mainland Japan, our primary responsibility is to collaboratively ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of physical security procedures. This involves working closely with Data Center Security Managers to uphold security standards and operational procedures, monitoring and maintaining physical security systems, and preparing as well as updating security documentation and standard operating procedures. We will also engage in security system testing and maintenance activities, contribute to the development of security awareness training materials, and assist in delivering these training sessions.
Our role also requires generating and analyzing security metrics and incident reports to aid management decision-making. In collaboration with security vendors, we will coordinate maintenance, repairs, operational needs, and support security improvement projects. This role provides a solid foundation for career growth within data center security management, thanks to the hands-on experience we will gain working with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are satisfied.
Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting daily security operations, processing security tickets, coordinating with vendors under management guidance, and assisting with security project documentation. We will also help prepare and deliver security awareness materials, maintain clear documentation and daily reports, and oversee security vendor work for service calls and scheduled projects. Additionally, we will participate in security system installation project meetings and assist with procurement tasks like work order execution and invoice validation, while also managing the onboarding and offboarding of Security Vendor resources.
